I just gave a quick look at the real ‘live’ data in the Fap Turbo site, and I have noted something a bit suspicious. Just a reminder, Fap Turbo went nuts around 15th – 19th January and many people lost real money. See a post in this blog itself. I don’t know this guy so is not that I have written the post myself. It is not the intention of this blog.
Anyway, a quick look at their real ‘live’ data, Fap Turbo DID PROFITS????????? HOW ON EARTH THAT IS POSSIBLE???????? Most Fap Turbo clients lost money and they are reporting that they indeed made a huge profit? WOW! There was a panic in the forum, many people claimed their money back, and according to the real ‘live’ data they did money in all 3 accounts! WOW!
Referring back to my earlier post, they should publicly say to their clients what exactly are the settings they are using in their real ‘live’ accounts. Of course I have not found their exact settings.

Good (honest) website, you seem to have some genuine comments so figured i’d make a post on this site.
Firstly, can someone explain to me why doing a backtest against the longterm default out-of-the-box settings gives such abhorrent results ($523 on a $10k account) and why nobody has made a big deal about it? I see a lot of websites advising to use the default settings, but those settings are a joke when put through a backtest for 2008 – does nobody else out there do some backtesting and optimizing before marching ahead with these robots? Any other settings are better than the defaults.
I’ve been optimizing all the longterm parameters on fapturbo for a while now, and got to a set that gave absolutely no loss against a backtest for Nov-Dec08 and a $27k net profit – profit factor: 0, expected payoff: 186.09. And not so bad results for the whole of 2008 ($640k (pf3.77,ep671.54)), but some losses (fair enough).
However, it’s not all good news because those parameters that seemed impossibly-good, were in fact that, and fell flat on their face from 11 Jan 09 onwards. Last week is just when I happened to put fapturbo on my live account, so now i’m in a big loss (am too worried it will completely blow my account).
Backtesting shows the big gain of $27k gets blown in Jan too, so forward and backtests seem to tally which is a good thing, bad thing being those parameters that I thought were great will blow the account if something untoward happens in the market.
My hunt for the holy-grail of parametrs was in vain, because there is no such thing – unless you sit and tune these things day in day out AND watch the fundamentals of the market, this and most other robots will be useless. I’ve tried out a whole host of other robots, decompiled them, studied their code to see if they are bogas or not, and I am yet to find one that can stand the test of time.
I’m gonna checkout the scalper strategy a bit more, but I think the LT strategy is a complete loser…

I just wanted a blog with transparency to the readers of what really Fap Turbo Forex Robot is capable of doing by sharing my experiences and other’s experiences like yours, and others that have been posted already in this blog.
I am sorry that with your live account you are loosing money. Do spreads really vary from the demo and live account?
Yes Fap Turbo went crazy early January, unfortunately I started Fap Turbo late December so I can’t tell how it performed before this period. But I trust what you are saying and I have also read this in the private forum.
In my case, Long Term lost over $1000 (had a post onthis as well in this blog) so I believe it is not effective right now. Scalping had good trades, except for yesterday with a minor loss. Also in the forum people claimed that Long Term is not profitible. I am also trading two currencies (EurGbp, EurChf) since again I read that the others currencies right now are not profitable.
It seems you are more experienced than me in Forex and with other forex robots currenty in the market. For sure as you correctly pointed out, these settings must be continually tweaked and monitored to reflect latest market trends, and for sure is not something for beginners. My question then is, is the time spent, experementing with the robot, possible losses,etc, are they worth it? Or is better off learn some forex skill and trade normally like experts do?

I purchased Fapturbo several months ago and after trading it for a couple of weeks on a demo account (with less than spectacular results, I began trading it on a live account.
I have several weeks experience with it on their default settings. Bottom line, it does not work. If you run the EA on their default settings, you WILL lose money.
Obviously, the “results” they show on their web site are falsified.
By the way, you CANNOT get anyone in the organization to tell you what settings they use on the accounts shown on their site.

Total SCAM!
Stay away from this product! Check the picture of Marcus Leary on their website and check the picture of a male actor named Doug on http://www.livefaceonweb.com site. Marcus Leary is a paid actor named Doug! Total BS scam. Performance results on their website are also made up BS! Ask anyone who bought and used the robot and they will tell you their results do not match the results claimed on their website. In fact most have consistently lost money. Do yourself a favour and DO not USE REAL money with this robot. ASK for your money back now from Clickbank. (Clikbank gives you 60 days and they are usually very good with refunds). Don’t go thru Fabturbo’s customer service – you will get nothing but delays and excuses to try to delay your refund past 60 days. Once past 60 days you can lose your refund with Clickbank. You have been warned.

Something’s fishy. fapturbo-review.com and forexautopilotreview.com have the same story. Different words but same story. They both share the same theme:
Hate forex software.
Over 99% are scams.
A good friend phoned them. Made $200 in 2 hours.
Took 2 full days to figure out the software.
Offer a manual titled **** robot, beginner to advanced manual. One is by Nick Webber, the other by Nick Baker, and have near identical covers. One of the testimonials in Fap turbo is by Arnold Kepling, Koln, Germany, who happens to write a testimonial for doublingstocks.com/review
It’s supposed to be so easy, but there are 6 or 7 video tutorials and a manual that looks to be about 50 pages. How is that easy? How is that set up in 5 minutes?
It probably works but as my wife always reminds me, if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.

Well, the creators vanished from Earth, and left their clients stranded.
However, I still use Fap Turbo, and maybe I found a way to make it trade properly. We will see this week how it goes. For sure it will not make you rich. Forget it.
However I did managed to grow my account from $850 to $1100. Went down to $850 thanks to FapTurbo losses, but back to $1100 thanks to Fap Turbo profits and Megadroid which is a far better robot.

That post is a bit old…I eventually went live with FapTurbo (if you see later posts) but eventually now I stopped using it since it is not worth it. Makes some nice profits, then 1 trade and wipes out the profit. So not worth it.

Bought Fapturbo a couple of months ago and have traded on demo – the losses far exceed the profits! It does not work, do not be fooled by their sales gimmicks. You will get very small winning trades and huge losses. What they claim on their website and what actually happens in the real trading world, are two different things. In my opinion forget trading robots, its a waste of time and money.

Don’t buy this scam product. The LT trade is buying EurUsd, when the whole world knows it is falling 2 days ago because of the Dubai thingie. It is naive for anyone to thing a computer program can handle unforeseen crises like the Dubai financial crisis, oil crisis, gold crisis, etc.

Hi Guys. Don’t buy FAP Turbo. I am a professionall programmer for over 15 years and i have analysed the source code of fap turbo. I am totally sure where is the scam. Fap turbo has approximatelly 3050 lines of source code and has also an external dependency to fabturbo3.dll. This dll cannot be decompiled to source code to see clearly the scam but doing hudnrends of test I finally found the truth.
Before any order is going to be send using SendOrder, fap turbo calls functions of fapturbo3.dll. There are 4 of them. These functions open historical Metatrader data and look forward the exact profitable entry and exit before send any order. The main algorithm of fap has a good sucess ratio but in long term is not profitable. So they look in history files that are downloaded locally (C:\Program Files\FxPro – MetaTrader\history\downloads\EURCHF) and make each lost order to be profitable. This can be easily proven if someone compare real time results with back test results. Some orders will differ in entry and exit time
and some others will be totally disappeared.

faptb is a loser machine for novice trader!.from this everything is connected, megadr(which is ok robot by the way)to fapw,fapturboexpertguide etc. they claim now after i buy ft.that all robots are suddenly not working and just crap??(why did they sell it in first place??and is it incl. fapturbo?)they release a so called secret report about reveal this once and for all now.. when i got the secret report they just admitting that all rob. are bulsh. but in the end of the report they recommend a independent frwc(robot worldcup)

DO NOT BUY FAP TURBO!!! Yes, their own backtesting showed losses on every trade because the robot is crap! [They might as well have called it "The Wizard of OZ" except NO ONE is even behind the curtain!] Open your eyes. If you know anything at all about markets–or life–there is no such thing as 99.6% profitability for anything, period! Also note that the stop losses are 160 pips or more on those fake P/L statements = say adios to your account VERY quickly.
You CAN make a living trading, but you have to study and work hard, like any new profession. You pay for your education via your losses, and that’s inevitable. Expect to study HARD for a year or two at least before you can even trade a demo acct with any success. I’m not trying to kill your dreams. But approaching this as a get rich scheme will only break your heart, your spirit, and your bank acct.
If you are serious about this and want a very good first primer, buy “High Probability Trading,” by Marcel Link. [Amazon has a great selection of trading books.] If you want excellent online info on Forex, check out the Forex Factory forums. Info there is the REAL DEAL, and you will get a REALISTIC look at what is required to be a Trader.
I don’t want to discourage anyone from trading, but KNOW that ANY trading robot [or program] you can purchase that promises you you can make a living right away is a fraud. There are too many variables. And IF someone did create a truly profitable robot, they would NOT sell their golden goose for $149!!! They would not sell it at all [for numerous reasons.] Sorry to burst your bubbles. There is no free ride in this business. It is complex, and demanding. If it seems like I’m tying to scare you a little, I am…just enough that you can be realistic about what is required. And also don’t fall for posts by other vendors who come on here trying to lure you into buying there “loser” robot.
[As a final warning: Do NOT think for a minute that you will be ready to trade by the time your final Unemployment extension runs out.]

I tested this EA extensively… its GREAT – that’s if your definition of “Great” is detroying 2 x $3000 accounts in a matter of 30 days.
The scam alert came when i studied their latest back tests. The tests are (claimed) to have taken place between: 01/01/2009 and 31/12/2009 … The big LIE was the fact that it was still early december 2009 when they were making these claims.
I would ask anyone considering buying this EA to just give the $150 to charity instead. FAP TURBO DOES NOT WORK PERIOD.

Amazed to see many people have purchased FAP Turbo, so it should have been working super fine! imagine about 20 people from this blog alone! what about 1000s of other blogs and users or people who have not posted any thing???? I think FAP Turbo is a good software…probably they should designing another new EA for users because they might have even reached their target selling point.! see what I mean?
eg: 10000 forex users around the world. 5000 uses EA to trade, so the company could have set a target of 10% / 500 users, once reached their market will go to a saturation point, so by collapsing thier own product / market they might come up with a new successful product, same might happen for that too…so we can’t do any thing about it bcz its net we dont really see any one, we have option A to believe scam A and option B to believe Scam B and Option C to believe in Scam C if at all we want to do some thing…! there are 1000s of other ways to earn money over the internet without cheating others but it all require some manual work, if you are not lazy enough then do some thing good rather than a get rich soon SCAM prg. I make my part time income thru internet… No Cheating .. scams. same way try and figure out a way that could help you as well..! tkx

and these prgs claim to say a money back but @ last what you get is only the dumb product money not the major loss it made so always beware or another way to minimize your loss is to do things combined, have 2 / 3 best friends of yurs and together invest a small amount of you feel its not worthy then the loss is minimal… think about it… if it worked then all of you and ur frnds can buy such s/w

fap turbo works just fine. it punches out continual buy sell signals all day long 24/7 365. however here is the key 1. its a scalper program so its looking for 5-20 pips depending on the pair your trading. so its basically in and out in a matter of minuits of a couple hours max. 2. it comes with a long term buy/sell expert advisor built into it but its only for the eur/usd pair and wont do a trade often. PEOPLE READ THE MANUAL CAREFULLY! the optimal settings on the 50 edition are pre-set however u need a broker with low sperads one to two points or pips as they are called. i am canadian i have a canadian broker with .5 of a spread if you can believe that……..i make money every day….about 400.00 canadian….consistantly for a year now. 3. the time settings are the most important setting on the program……..get your settings right and you will do well. and if you dont believe me e-mail me and i will set it up for you no charge just to prove my point

only the naive fall for the ‘robot’ scams and it’s actually a good thing because there is no better lesson learned than one that entails losing money. automating your own trading is one thing but buying an automated system is another.
now if you want to actually make money trading, then go think, eat, breathe, sleep trading for a couple of years just for starters. that doesn’t mean memorizing a bunch of setups and blindly throwing money at them with the hope of ending up with more. setups are a dime a dozen if you haven’t noticed and a very small part of the big picture. it takes time and effort to gain the mindset and the ability to make a living by trading, especially if you’re on your own, but in the end, it’s completely up to you.

True, then I stopped using the robot since it was not effective anymore. I heard lately that it is becoming again effective, since much less people are using it now. In fact Fap Turbo was effective in the early months, then when they sold 40K robots, they where all nearly trading at the same time when the market was quite (Asian session) thats where the robot got screwed.
This was not fair on Fap Turbo customers, since they know that the volume is low at this time but they just looked at their pockets instead of their customers.
This is also evident that selling the robot instead of trading the robot, they were making more money. Just think about it for a second. Their forum also died at the same time leaving their customer death ended. Who where lucky that where in time to claim the refund, they did it, others just got screwed or scammed call it whatever you want.

No results achieved by Fap Turbo are very far from those displayed or better say hyped. That was nearly 2 years ago. Many people used Fap Turbo and liquidity when the robots is very low, so Fap Turbo killed itself. Many people where using it, opening trades nearly at the same time and the market did not move enough to close the trades in profits.
Lately I heard that you can trade Fap Turbo again with some profits since many people stopped trading it, so the above is not an issue anymore.

what about fap winner? They use fap turbo and other ea’s and they have amazing reviews? is just because of their strategy and has nothing to do with the software?

It looks to me that so many of these comments are from people pushing products. Some comments are are from Fap Turbo sales people. I am am not implying that any of these products work or don’t work but her is not the place to find unbiased information.

Forex robots does not guarantee you to make money. There are lucky winners and unlucky losers. If you are not prepared to lose money, don’t get it. It’s a fool’s paradise.

I’ve been analyzing robot ads for a couple of hours online, they all seem to have the same advertising-marketing set-up. [There maybe be truth to a program being able to capitalize on Forex but the marketplace maybe too dynamic & setting up preferences too complex for a beginner coming into the field].
Also this whole thing maybe just a scam business of programmers & slick business men taking advantage of mass ignorance selling products with different names but by the same programmers for people with money looking for easy ways to invest or to make money. They know $97-$150 is nothing to most investors. But the ads scream “get rich quick scam” and rely on a person’s hopes.
IF there are any really good robots what are they? I’m debating on trying one just to see if it’s total B.S. I’ve wasted $100 on a lot of other stupid things so this would be a trial experiment, even though I know most of this is fluff.

Come on people…use some common sense. If FAP Turbo or any other so called program worked, would you sell it or trade it for your own profit? The answer is obvious. Thus, you are correct, none of them work, they are all SCAMS! Face the facts and learn to trade on your own.

I read this thread hoping to see some bad reviews – it’s nice to see the difference in peoples views.
I just want to state two things,
1) okay, the settings that they provide are shite, they don’t work. It will loose money and that will make people angry becuase they say install it and make money!
BUT 2) After I have tweaked ALL the settings to work with my account – it’s working. Not making a huge amount of money, but it’s working.
I think the main issue is that FAP Turbo is created for $10k+ accounts – for people trading with $200 – $1000 you need to change the settings in accordance with the account. You can’t trade 15 lots on a $200 account – of course you’re going to loose you money. my settings are working with a $250.00 account and is making around £10 to £15 a night (trading 12 hours a day, 4 days a week).
All I stress to people is that for this to work – you need to play with the settings, becuase you need to customize them to your account size. I only trade in 0.01 lots, even 0.1 lots is too much for my $250 accounts.
And what I’ve done is spread the risk – I have 10 accounts with alpari UK (good provider) and it’s maing between £100 and £150 a night. Not bad if I may say so – if anybody wants a copy of my settings, please contact me.

It’s a BS product……. if you invest you’ll see yourself… I recommend avoiding!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I begged to differ that Fapturbo is a scam… You just can’t trust the “$5100 growed into $4x,xxx in xx days!!” banner…
There is something I found out for Fapturbo which is not mentioned in their website…
It only open trades between GMT 2000Hrs and 2300Hrs..of course, you can change that settings to whichever timing you want to..But I just leave it the way it is..
On average, my account (balance of about $1300) makes about $30USD – $40 USD per day..
I also noticed they increased my lot size to 0.10 when my balance hit something like $1300 mark..
I started out my account of $1000 and after less than a month, it’s now $1350 (as of now).. However, please take notice that about $100 is I earned myself.. Howsoever, fapturbo already helped me to earn back it’s cost…
I have to agree that Fapturbo will never get you rich.. Bear in mind.. All investments carry a certain level of risks..
However for me, I just let the robot work.. And after some time, I will withdraw $1139 (my deposit and cost of fapturbo) and let it run by itself..At least that way, if I were lose everything in that account, I still have my intial deposit and I will just take it as a waste of time.. If it snowballed into larger amount, I’ll just withdraw it and let it snowball again…
I will update here if there’s any changes..

Babypips is also a nice start.

I purchased Fap Turbo because they said that it was easy and basically automatic. Once you purchase the software you have to watch and read tons of material to understand (partially) how the systems works. Then they suggest that you run it in demo mode for a few weeks. Running in Demo mode does not tell you anything since you are not really buying or selling. Just because the numbers show gains in demo mode does not mean that when you placed your buy or sell order and that you were able to lock them in at those prices. Anyway, after a few weeks I realized that I have to tweak the setting in order to ensure that I am able to be successful. So I tried to get a hold of someone at tech support since their support martial is not very clear. They only have 3 people at tech support. They all have accents and they don’t pick up their phones. I am not sure if they are oversees or here in the states. Never-the-less they don’t return phone calls. So I hounded their tech support by leaving messages for a couple of couple weeks every couple of day. Then I started to write e-mails. While they were sending me marketing e-mails at the same time I am asking for help they are asking me to purchase more services from them. They never got back to me. I even e-mailed a person named Steve. He is the guy who sends out marketing e-mails. Again no response. I ended up purchasing one of their less expensive training material ($27) thinking that it would help answer my questions. But it did not. Then I got another marketing e-mail from them suggesting to sign up with someone last name Casey (I forgot the first name). This person wants over $2000 to help you get setup. That is when I realized that this program might just be a Scam. I contacted them via e-mail asking them to refund my money. No surprise there but they did not get back to me. Then I filed a claim with paypal and they said that they can’t help me. So I contacted Clickbank and they said that it has been over 60 days and they can’t refund me. So now I know how the scam works. They first have you waste a few weeks running demos. If the demos don’t work you end up thinking there is some thing that you are doing wrong. Then they string you along for a couple more weeks and tell you you need more info. So if you are dumb enough like me then you will buy the cheaper training videos. If you are really dumb then you will pay another couple of thousands. They make you think that FAP TURBO is the holy grail of forex market. That you way you think it is you that is doing it wrong the software is perfect. FapTurbo is a Scam; if you are one of the lucky ones who happen to either know how to program the setting or just gets it right by accident you may make some money. But in my opinion if you get the settings wrong YOU WILL LOSE MONEY. of course what they will say in their own defense is that you set it wrong. I am also thinking that maybe this software only works in demo mode and not it the live mode. That is why they are vague so they can say that you did it wrong.
Either way STAY AWAY FROM FAP TURBO IT IS A SCAM.
