Had to write this article last weekend but I was caught with work.
An overview of last week performance of Fap Turbo Forex Robot. So last week Fap Turbo did extremely well in scalping mode.
It did 8 trades for a total profit of $229.87. All successful trades with no losses.
And these are the settings that I am using.
Pairs: EURGBP / EURCHF
Scalper_Lots are set to 1.0,
Scalper_UseMM is set to true.
Scalper_GMTOffset is of 2 since my server is in UK (depends on broker as well).
Scalper_MaxSpread is set to 8.
MaxSpread set to 8 is pretty risky, but as we have already explained, the spreads has widened and thus Fap Turbo will not trade often with MaxSpread set default to 5.
We see what this week is going to happen. However the question remains,
DOES FAP TURBO WORK IN LIVE ACCOUNTS? – SINCE WE KNOW THAT QOUTES VARY FROM DEMO TO LIVE!!!
Your comments to this question are highly appreciated.

Hi, can’t help you here since I have my own dedicated server (not VPS) for my sites, so I can’t really recommend. However I guess choosing a VPS should not be a problem compared to the problem for selecting the best broker for the trades.
However, from experience, try select companies that have been in the market for a number of years and offer a well setup customer support. When something goes wrong in the VPS, you are basically at their mercy especially if you are trading live. Better pay few dollars more to be honest.
Maybe some readers can suggest a VPS that they are using and can recommend it to our friend here.

Hi Trenkts,
I have followed the installation from the manual / videos. So is useless to repeat the process apart from the fact that I forgot what I have done
But I remember I have downloaded everything (Metatrader and Fap Turbo) from the server directly and unfortunately had to install Firefox since with IE it was not downloading.
Of course you need to use remote desktop.
If you are referring for VPS specifically for Forex, I am sorry but I don’t know.

What an interesting expreiment. Well done.
In theory.
On the stock market I can bid above below or within the spread.
For example. I want to buy EZL
Bid (Buy offer) $0.50
Offer(Sell offer) $0.56.
The quickest way to get EZL is to accept offer $0.56 and within seconds I have the shares.
However I decide to trump the current bid and make a bid of $0.53.
The other buyer sees my bid and bids $0.54.
Due to competition for EZL shares the margin moved from 6 cents to 2 cents.
(Actual trade resulted in both bids being accepted)
In forex you are always on the wrong side of the margin.
The is a functional basis for the forex market. If I go to the USA I will need USD and must trade and pay the margin that pays the costs of the trade and gives the broker a profit.
I can choose to trade at say 20 pips or if I look around might find a broker trading at 4 pips.
The broker’s profit is margin x volume.
If the margin is too high the broker risks losing volume.
If the margin is too low the broker won’t make a profit.
Therefore the force that gives effect to forex margins is the number of traders who refuse to trade below a certain margin or swap brokers or markets.
FAP turbo by default is apparently set to start trading below 5 pips. While all the FAP turbo users on their own would be unlikely to affect the margin there are undoubtably much larger automated tradings systems in operation including those that benefit from an increased margins that could potentially react to the influence of small robotic investors and one of the ways this could be achieved in by increasing the margins. This makes trading more risky and more competitive.
Already there are people increasing the margin of FAP turbo. That is the nature of competition.
So the next robot needs to have access to numerous brokers to increase competition between brokes for volume.
Very difficult for a small player but routine for a big player.
As I say “IN Theory”

Ok….sorry for the technical difficulty. My previous post just mentioned a few things about VPS hosting. Like many things on the internet, there are many to choose from.
You want to do your due diligence and look mainly at the support that VPS sites offer their customers. One thing that may trump support is affordability. To begin with, if you are budgeting very carefully and can’t affort the 70 dollars monthly that some sites charge, there is another VPS alternative that has been compatible with Fap Turbo and has good support according to the reviews that I have come across.
ForexVPS is only 35 dollars montly and seems to be the ideal hosting service to someone starting their Forex journey. Reviews seem to be positive and the price is right.
Fap Turbo seems to be endorsing Forex Hoster but I have come across many reviews that don’t seem to put this hosting service in a good light. Firstly the price is 70 dollars which might be too steep for some and secondly and perhaps more importantly, the support has been difficult to come by on this site. A full refund is available if purchased through Clickbank but that seems like something I’d rather avoid If I have prior knowledged of any possible problems arising.
I hope this helps with any insight on some VPS services out there. Like I said, Due Diligence is needed. Let’s help each other out here. Best of Luck.

@Nev Nod – great explanation, and this exactly what is happening, MaxSpread is set to 8, thus very risky, however if I leave the default 5, Fap Turbo will not manage to make a trade. If I go live, I will make it 5 or 6.
@Rob – Thanks for reposting. $70 is too much!! $70 you buy a dedicated machine (a real physical machine) and not a virtual machine!! $35 is right price, if it comes with proper service. If the system is properly set up, their shouldn’t be any problems anyway.
